PurVago — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service (https://app.purvago.com/legal/terms). "AI Features" has the meaning given in Section 1.7 of the Terms. You and your Authorized Users must not use the Service to, or attempt to:

1. Legal & rights violations

• Violate any law or regulation, or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
• Upload or transmit content you lack the rights or consents to use.
• Record voice or video without any legally required notice/consent, or violate wiretap, biometric, or eavesdropping laws.
• Order or use a background check or drug screen without a permissible purpose, the required disclosures and authorization, or the adverse-action steps the law requires.

2. Communications abuse

• Send SMS, calls, or email in violation of anti-spam, telemarketing, or consent laws (e.g., TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL), or without required opt-ins and opt-outs.
• Send unsolicited bulk or deceptive messages, or spoof sender identity.

3. Security & integrity

• Circumvent or probe authentication, authorization, tenant isolation, rate limits, or other security controls.
• Access data, accounts, or workspaces you are not authorized to access, or attempt to access another tenant's data.
• Introduce malware; scrape, crawl, or harvest data except through provided APIs within limits; or perform load/penetration testing without prior written authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users.

4. Platform & AI misuse

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code except as law permits.
• Use PurVago's Confidential Information, non-public documentation, or the AI Features' model outputs to develop a competing product, or extract, replicate, or train on model weights or outputs beyond permitted use.
• Use AI Features to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human oversight and required safeguards, or in a discriminatory manner.
• Submit prohibited, unlawful, or unnecessarily sensitive content to AI Features.

5. Fraud & financial abuse

• Use payment features to process fraudulent, unauthorized, or prohibited transactions, launder money, or evade fees, chargebacks, or platform application fees.
• Misrepresent invoices, estimates, taxes, or your identity or authority.

6. Content

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or that exploits or endangers others.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, or terminate access (including at the platform level) where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, other customers, or third parties, or to comply with law, as described in Sections 12.2 and 12.3 of the Terms of Service. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice by email where practicable, and a suspension never removes your ability to export your data. Report abuse to security@purvago.com or support@purvago.com.
